Simple retouching technique in photoshop

In this photoshop tutorial I'm going to show you a very simple way to retouch your digital photos. Though this isn't an advanced professional technique, but it's a technique you'll be able to remember and use time and time again.

STEP 1:First, take a sample image as your choice.

STEP 2:Next, grab the smudge brush. Pick a non-hard brush (can be 0% hardness as well), set the strength to 5% and start smudging. Cover every part of her face except the eyes and teeth.

STEP 3:Next, duplicate the layer and use the following settings:Blending Mode: Screen, Opacity: 45%.

Then duplicate the layer again, and use the options in the screenshot below.

STEP 4:If you want to add a small shiny/glow effect to the skin, you can pick up the dodge tool and using the settings in the screenshot below, you can start dodging areas you'd like to be brighter.

Now compare the two photos

it is a very simple technique of using smudge tool in photo retouching

Changing eye color in photoshop

Hello guys ever wanted to change eye color in Photoshop. Here is a cool tutorial.

Step 1: First take an image .Not necessarily only the eyes . Here i crop out only the eyes for ease of my work.

Step 2: Now either crop out all but the eyes .Then, duplicate the Background layer.

Step 3: Then basic re-coloring again, . Brighten the whites first. Select the Dodge tool and, with a soft brush and the Range set to Highlights, lighten the white areas of the eyes.

Step 4:Now double-click the foreground color and change it to blue.

Step 5: Then work with the paintbrush. With a round feathered brush and the Mode set to Color, paint out the former hue and replace it with the blue.

Step 6: What do you say about this effect! Now try it with a yellow.

Step 7: Now its up to you man, whatever color you like can just make it. Here i turned it into red.
